3. Refund Policy

StormHoster maintains a clear refund policy based on the service provided:

  1. 30-Day Hosting Refund: StormHoster offers a 30-day money-back guarantee only for shared and VPS hosting plans. If you are dissatisfied with our hosting services, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase. After this period, refunds will not be processed.
  2. Non-Refundable Services: The following services are non-refundable:
    • Domain Name Registrations and Renewals
    • SSL Certificates

    Refunds will not be issued for these services under any circumstances, as they are activated upon payment.

4. Chargeback Policy

Chargebacks are strictly prohibited. By purchasing services from StormHoster, you agree to resolve any payment disputes directly with our billing team. Unauthorized chargebacks will result in:

  1. Immediate suspension or termination of all active services without notice.
  2. Permanent ban from using StormHoster services.
  3. Legal action to recover the disputed amount along with additional penalties.

5. Account Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your StormHoster account. This includes:

  1. Using a strong password and securing your login details.
  2. Monitoring account activities and notifying StormHoster of unauthorized access.
  3. Ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact and billing information.
  4. Not sharing your account details with unauthorized parties.

6. Service Usage Policy

Customers must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Prohibited activities include:

  1. Hosting illegal or copyrighted content.
  2. Distributing malware, phishing tools, or harmful scripts.
  3. Spamming, sending bulk emails, or unsolicited messaging.
  4. Overloading servers or engaging in excessive resource usage.
  5. Hosting adult, abusive, or politically sensitive content.

StormHoster reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these policies without prior notice.

7. Content Regulation Policy

StormHoster strictly regulates hosted content to ensure compliance with local and international laws. Clients must adhere to the following content guidelines:

  1. No copyrighted materials without proper licensing.
  2. No content promoting hate speech, harassment, or discrimination.
  3. No hosting of illegal, fraudulent, or pirated materials.
  4. No adult content, including pornography or graphic media.
  5. No content that threatens national security or public safety.

Failure to comply with these regulations will result in immediate account suspension or termination.

8. Backups and Data Management

While StormHoster provides daily backups for shared hosting plans, clients are responsible for maintaining independent backups of their data. StormHoster is not liable for data loss resulting from:

  1. Server crashes or hardware failures.
  2. Malicious attacks or data corruption.
  3. User errors or accidental deletions.

10. Termination of Services

StormHoster reserves the right to terminate services for the following reasons:

  2. Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
  3. Engaging in illegal or unethical activities.
  4. Repeated misuse of server resources.

In the case of termination, data will be retained for 7 days. After this period, all data will be permanently deleted.
